Lenovo has announced today that they have completed the acquisition of Motorola from Google. The cost of the acquisition is about $2.91 billion, and was announced in late January.
With this acquisition Lenovo takes over the Moto Lineup of smartphones and smart watches, but Google will still retain all the majority of the patents of Motorola. With that being said, Motorola will still retain 2000 patents.3
