An all new Nexus Phone is rumored to be arriving in the coming months. Motorola is supposed to be making the ‘6’ as everyone is calling it. Earlier there had been reports about Google scrapping the Nexus line in favor of the Silver line of phones and tablets, but they have denied any such reports in the Google I/O 2014 which was held in San Francisco last June.
The device is being code-named ‘Shamu’, according to reports, and the phone boasts some incredible specs, including a 5.9″ Full HD 1920X1080 Display, fingerprint sensor and more. Motorola is supposedly making their MotoX successor the MotoX +1, and that along with the Nexus 6 will be great additions to their already brilliant portfolio. Android Police say that “We are confident that the Shamu is a real device under active development, and fairly confident that it is a contender for the Nexus program”.
Either way, a Motorola made Nexus is an amazing prospect. Keep in mind that the products which came out when Motorola and Google joined forces were amazing. Can we expect the same when Motorola makes a Nexus phone? Absolutely. I am so looking forward to the coming months, and I have a feeling that its going to be good.
